We held a birthday party for Abby's 5th B-day on Saturday. For a low budget, last minute party, it turned out great. Abby decided a luau birthday would be cool so we transformed our neighborhood park into a "hula girls paradise" complete with nets, starfish, charm bracelet station, and even a Hawaiian guitar. Here are some pics of my hula girl and her hoppin' hula party.
I would like to give a special thanks to all who attended, but especially to "Uncle" David and "Aunt" Cindy who provided the elaborate Hawaiian decorations and the charm bracelet making station. (I wish I had pics of these decorations, because they were really over the top!) I would also like to thank Megan for providing her bounce house, and to my parents for helping with the food. Without all of you, our "party" would have been pretty lame!
