In the last weeks of being in Costa Rica, Taylor started really laying it on hard (guilt trip...that is) that I gave up on surfing after one bad experience. So I finally gave in and signed up for surf lessons with my friend Allie. Well, I was so glad he talked me into it because in just one day everything finally clicked, and surfing turned from scary to fun. Now I am hooked and cannot wait to go in Cali. Okay seriously, I feel totally out of it. The move was good but hectic as ever. Sorry I never called you, my phone didn't work for like three days. I did hear that you guys are back and that the picking up from the airport thing worked out with your cousin . whew! Sorry I couldn't pick you up.

I was totally expecting to see you at church today. do you have that wedding? i have like 12 family members visitng so things have been crazy, or else I would have called you.
